It's quiet around here!

It's so quiet in the house after everyone left I have returned to my sewing room. My latest project is an ironing board cover.

Because my new ironing board is one that goes on the wall, it is a strange size and needed a custom made cover.

I love the fabrics and think they go perfect with my sewing room.

Of course I needed a new iron too. An iron only lasts about four years in my house. Maybe that's because it stays on for days when I'm working on a quilt. It looks so pretty just sitting there!
